Created for a global pharmaceutical client, Breakthrough was a visual concept centered on clarity, transformation, and forward momentum—capturing the feeling of pushing through complexity toward a clear, open horizon.
I developed the full event theme, translating this idea into a cohesive visual system that balanced atmosphere with precision. Soft gradients, expansive skies, and subtle light transitions were used to evoke a sense of emergence and possibility, while maintaining the level of polish expected in a highly regulated, content-heavy environment.
As part of the design execution, I created a suite of custom widescreen presentation slides tailored for large-format displays. Each slide was thoughtfully composed to maximize legibility and impact at scale, ensuring that even the most detailed information felt clear, intentional, and easy to follow.
During preproduction, I worked closely with the event team to structure and refine content, build out decks, and prepare all assets for seamless delivery. This included managing slide flow, aligning multiple presenters within the visual system, and ensuring consistency across every touchpoint.
The result was a clean, elevated visual experience that supported the narrative of progress—guiding the audience from complexity to clarity with confidence and cohesion.

The above opening video was designed to pair with a VR experience intended to bring the viewer into the experience of the patient who would be experiencing symptoms. The mood needed to be dark and moody and a little uncomfortable to contrast the bright and hopeful theme graphic.
During the event, I was tasked with designing and executing a set of game show graphics on a rapid turnaround while onsite. The experience incorporated live audience response data, requiring real-time updates and seamless integration into the presentation. As the graphics operator, I managed incoming results and updated visuals in show—ensuring accuracy, timing, and a smooth, engaging experience for both presenters and audience.
